General For the quick, pleasant heating of your residence, the heat transmission resistance of a floor covering should be as low as possible. A value of from 0.18 m² x KW should not be exceeded. All PAMINO parquet floorings are suitable for laying above underfloor heating. You should however bear in mind the shrinkage and swelling behaviour (technical parameters) of the different wood types and the differing heat transmission resistances of the various parquet floorings in the PAMINO product range. A parquet floor glued into place over the entire surface assures the best heat transmission from sub-floors through the wood. The gluing prevents any isolating air pockets from forming under the parquet floor. This allows the heat to be transferred quickly and with no hindrances. During operation, the surface temperature must not be allowed to exceed 27° C in order to prevent damage to the parquet floor. You should also ensure that the room has sufficient relative humidity in order to minimise possible slight gap formation due to drying in the wood surface. Utilisation of underfloor heating should be planned carefully. Ensure that the work is done professionally. If you then pay attention to the correct dry heating of your heating pavement, you will feel comfortable with your PAMINO parquet floor on underfloor heating as well. |
